Hi guys,

we are running two AMS2300 in our computing center and try to manage these two disk subsystem with the SNM CLI Version 11.52

I have read the Installation and Configuration Guide (HSNM2_ug_CLI_33E.pdf) that was shipped with the installation files.

I also got connected to both AMS2300 via
auunitaddauto -ip x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

I have to Bash Shells opens and logged in as same user.
Here is the output for my exported environmental variables:
DFHOME=/usr/stonavm
STONAVM_HOME=/usr/stonavm
PATH=/home/username/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/ucb:/usr/bin/X11:/sbin:/opt/ibm/director/bin:/usr/local/bin:/opt/freeware/bin:/usr/es/sbin/cluster/utilities:/usr/es/sbin/cluster:/usr/sbin:/usr/stonavm/
OLDPWD=/usr/stonavm
LIBPATH=/usr/stonavm/lib

When I now try to get for example the installed disks via:
audrive -unit AMS2300_1 -vendor
The CLI ask me in one Terminal for a username and password (I now the username and password) and on the other Terminal not.
For me it is very frustating because I don't know what's wrong.

I think I missed something up with the
auaccountenv    Setting/Deleting the Account Information For Script
and
auaccount

It would be really nice if somebody could explain me the behavior of above commands (auaccountenv,auaccount) and what else necessary.

Maybe, for us it is enough when we disable the Account Authentication, but how can I arrange this?

Special Thanks!

Kind Regards,
Andi
