Dear Colleagues,

my name is Luis and I work as a consultant on the s IT Solutions AT Spardat GmbH(https://www.s-itsolutions.at/de/home).
I am trying to edit some old pentaho transformation jobs.

But in Linux I lose the connections in the Table input, leaving only the selected connection.

Steps:

  1. open an old transformation job
  2. edit the table input object
  3. show all the connections in the connection combobox -> there are 5
  4. edit the sql statement
  5. select the third connection in the combobox
  6. save the transformation
  7. close pentaho
  8. start pentaho and reopen the same transformation job
  9. edit the table input object
  10. show all the connections in the connection combobox -> there is only one connection - the selected connection

This is very bad, because I am all the time losing necessary connections.

My system description:

  • Linux Mint 18
  • contains libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 and libwebkitgtk-3.0-0
  • java version "1.8.0_151"

Pentaho Data Integration Versions Tested:

  • 7.1
  • 7.0
  • 6.1

What do I need to do, to avoid this scenario?

Best regards,

Luis
